I sent this to John (Mr. hot hot hot) yesterday but I think everyone should know about this. The hottest pepper just got beaten. The Carolina Reaper (shown below) is rated at 2.2 million Scoville Heat Units.
The new champion is something called the Dragon’s Breath chili. I tried to post a picture here but as you can see, the picture melted.
I and my gut like my Scoville Heat Units around the zero range.

I like spicy food, but if I have to wear an asbestos tongue cover to eat it, it's a bit too spicy.
I like my salsa on the mild side too.
Tobasco sauce is as hot as I go.
The hottest sauce I currently have is rated at 600,000 SHU (Scoville Heat Units). That means that 1 drop of the sauce can still be detected (heat-wise) in 600,000 drops of water.
Much hotter than that and the no longer consider it a hot sauce, but a food additive, as you really can't use it as a sauce.
Ridiculous! I like my scovilles around zero too.
