There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

Agnes and I love cruising, and have seen people chucked off for many of these reasons, mostly for failing to be on board at the all-aboard call. Never seen a fight ... yet. We were on our Baltic cruise when a gravely ill passenger had to be evacuated by helicopter at sea, which was exciting (but not for him) ... on the same cruise, another passenger suffered a heart attack on shore, which he didn't survive. Lots of "older" people go on cruises, so medical issues are common.
I had a cousin who was coming to visit on a cruise. He never made it because someone had medical issues and the ship went north of Cuba to helo the to Florida, instead of south od Cuba to Cayman.
Would never ever do a cruise again. Worst vacation ever.
I don't understand the appeal of a cruise and I love water and boats. A hotel on water with the same damn annoying people 24/7. That is not a vacation that's hell to me.
Gee I'm a bundle of fun, aren't I ? :-)
LOL!
