4581 - More medical stuff
So while I was in the hospital, I was talking to a nurse about the pneumonia and shingles vaccines. She said that they shouldn't be taken together. And that there should be a bit of time between the two. Sounded like a Google search to me!
I found some interesting info. Should you take them close together or not? Depends. IKR!
I looked up 'time between pneumonia vaccine and shingles vaccine'. That took me to https://www.immunize.org/askexperts/experts_zos.asp. Lots of reading because this is for doctors. But it's not unreadable. Just lots of info. Should you take the shots close together?... depends.
But what caught my eye was the main URL, https://www.immunize.org/. Lots and lots and lots of info about vaccines. For doctors and the public. You could spend days on this site.
I also found this link to an AARP article... https://www.aarp.org/health/drugs-supplements/info-05-2011/shingles-pneumonia-vaccine-health-discovery.html. Their take is to do them together so the old people don't have to come back a second time.
So, I've given you enough reading to keep you busy for a long time. Do a CliffsNotes for me, will you? I don't have the time to read all that stuff.

Anything to do with medical health always seems to involve a ream of often contradictory information, doesn't it.
Rick had both at the same time. Maybe that's what is wrong with him :-)
