A friend posted all these on Facebook. But what I just discovered was that I could upload all of them at once. You couldn't do that before and I never tried it again until now. Select the first picture, hold shift down, select the last picture, upload them all.
That said, someone put together a good commentary on our association with the screen. But I also have to say I haven't gotten a smartphone yet. Maybe one of these days...

A great collection. I have a smart phone - which spends most of its life turned off. And is NOT used for selfies. And don't get me started on people who use selfie sticks to interrupt other people's viewing pleasure.
Selfies have their place, and it's not the documentation of either bad or ostentatiously good behavior.
EC - I keep looking at getting a smartphone and say to myself, maybe later.
B - I've only taken selfies with other people's phones.
These are great, LOL! I just switched to a smartphone about a year ago and I love it. Don't know why I waited so long.
I only aquired a smart phone last year and i`m still trying to fathom how to transfer my beloved and cherished Pauline Hickey collection from my laptop to the phone, maybe i`ll have to end up downloading them all again girl-ually onto the actual phone but thats OK especially when you think about who the girl in the pictures actually is ! ! !. BTW Mike, i`m disappointed to say the least, all those (admittedly) quite interesting images are fine but couldn`t you have sneaked just one of Pauline into the mix ! ?, all your other regular contributors probably wouldn`t have even noticed so that would`ve minimized any possible of anyone being offended (especially the girl contributors obviously), but its something that would`ve made my century (and thats not an overstate-girl-t believe me!) because i really would like to see what your own per-daughter-al favourite picture of her is ! ! !, think about that the next time you post an article with multiple images included in it, cheers.
DSWS - I'm still holding off.
LJ - I haven't had time to search.
I'm still using a TracFone, but it is smart enough for me. Not that it takes much to outsmart me, but I certainly don't want my phone to have that satisfaction.
OK Mike, but you will obviously have time to search for those images at some point so i`ll expect to see that (or preferably those) pictures of the astounding Miss Hickey on this blog at some point in the next couple of weeks, i`m counting on ya` my good buddy, cheers.
Mike, that picture of the pied-piper leading the people off the cliff is straight out of last years bizarre cult oddity "Midsommar", and i bet all the other people in the other pictures who are obsessively looking at their phones are all (without exception) looking at pictures of the quite astonishing 17 year-old Pauline Hickey from 1985! (er...what the hell else would they be looking at...duh), especially the geezer on the gallows whos presumably about to be hanged, looking at pictures of the quite astonishing 17 year-old Pauline Hickey from 1985 was probably his last request, and quite understandably so obviously!.
Watch The Social Dilemma on Netflix.
Guarantee it will make you think.
I have had a smart phone for a year. Still not sure I really need it, but I have used the GPS a few times which was incredibly handy.
Love the facebook pied piper and the last is all too possible! Great collection. Get a smart phone; they're handy and you don't have to use all its features. I don't use most of mine, including all of social media. On occasion I've even read your blog to refresh my memory of your jokes so that's worth something, isn't it?
I saw a good video a couple years ago, "Disconnect to Connect". Everyone and everything is invisible to the person looking at their screen. When they put it down, everything reappears and they were missing amazing things.
A - I sort of watched it and gave it a thumbs down. From what I remember it was the video editing more than the content. You know how they like to say 'If you're not paying for the product, you are the product'? I don't see how that's any different than over-the-air TV which we've been watching for 50 years. It's free because there are commercials. And most commercials suck. Now imagine all the commercials you see are good because they know what you like. As long as you know that's what's happening, is it all that bad as long as you get free access? On Facebook, I'm always zapping ads I don't like.
AW - As long as you're checking my blog it's definitely worth it!
MD - That could all come true with 3D Virtual Reality Goggles.
So do you have a land line, or is it that you have the now-old-fashioned open-and-close-type cell phone?
K - I have two land lines (real telephone lines). I have a 100mb AT&T connection. It's actually fast enough for anything I do. But I want a 1 gig fiber line. It doesn't cost that much more but it's not available around here yet.
Mike, would a 1 gig fiber line help to improve the clarity and definition of my extensive Pauline Hickey collection ?, they already look superb obviously but if i could improve the quality of them even more it would be marvellous ! ! !. BTW, did you fall about laughing at those brilliant Pauline Hickey related com-girl-ts before you deleted them ?.
Mike, i dont usually like ADs either but i did buy something (rather retro and laughably out-moded admittedly, but i couldn`t resist the nostalgia value) a couple of weeks ago online, it was a selection of 20 soft-core porn mags from the mid-eighties that are in pristine mint condition for only $7.99, the pictures in them are great with all the gorgeous sexy 18 year-old sex-pots and lust-pots of their day showing their bums and twats and tits, glorious!. Er...Mike, can you guess the real rea-daughter why i bought them ?...thats right...you guessed it...first time...the sales pitch on the AD stated (truthfully thankfully) that the quite astonishing 17 year-old Pauline Hickey from 1985 had approximately 8 to 10 pages devoted to her in every magazine ! ! !, providing me with quite a few incredible glossy colour pictures of the bird that weren`t amongst my collection, and i`ve now girl-aged to transfer them all to my computer (although admittedly with some difficulty because of my lack of knowledge with regards to so girl-y computer functions and complexities). It was certainly worth the effort though as i took another step closer to aquiring literally EVERY picture that was ever taken of that truly mesmerizing and mind- blowing mega-titted lust-pot ! ! !. All in all $8 well spent, i think you`ll agree Mike!. BTW Mike, its OK, i haven`t forgotton your request, its just that i`m still trying to work out how to send multiple images to someone over the internet whilst still retaining my anonimity, but when i do, rest assured that the first thing i`ll do is to send you my entire Pauline Hickey (currently 417 amazing images) collection with the highest picture quality and resolution possible.
