Here's an article on the tip-of-the-tongue syndrome. The older you get, the more it's a problem, right. Well, maybe that's just normal. Can it be fixed? Here's a snippet...
"If you are an older adult and still worried about the number of TOT states that you experience, research suggests you might have fewer such episodes if you maintain your aerobic fitness."
Exercise! It's the one thing that helps just about everything.

Sometimes I wonder whether exercise IS the miracle cure it is held up to be...
I had a word to describe how I felt about reading this. But I can't retrieve it just now.
seriously? I'm going to die but not be able to think of the word that is happening to me. I get a lot of exercise but I don't think it would be considered aerobic. Walking 3 miles a day doesn't seem to help my ....what do you call it?
WHY is goddamn EXERCISE the solution to EVERYTHING?
EC - My wife has Parkinson's and I know it helps her a lot. When she doesn't exercise I can tell.
SK - I know what you mean. It's... ummmm...
MPP - I still read other articles that say walking is the best exercise. Probably because people will do that so they encourage it.
DSWS - I think it's because if you're exercising you're not eating. So it's a trick to get you to eat less.
The prediabetes class I took said exercise is only 10% of losing weight. Calories is 90%.
The best exercise for both mind and body would obviously be to spend 3 hours every day *********** instead of 3 hours on a bike or treadmill or rowing machine or lifting dumb-arsed weights!, no thank-you!, you have to admit i`m right Mike!.
LJ - But she's dead. I don't think that would be any fun at ALL!
While you're all focusing on the exercise, I find it interesting that a big vocabulary can bring it on. Makes sense. After all, Tonto never seems to be at a loss for words.
K - You right Kirkosabee.
Aerobic fitness, yes. Good food including HEALTHY fats [brain and myelination love them!]
C - And the correct amount of calories.
