I'll bet you didn't know the Hunchback of Notre Dame could be in two places at once, did you?
Wait, listen, it's the 2021 COVID version of the Hunchback. What's he hollering?
Immunity! Immunity!
There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

I hope the 2021 version is NOT granted immunity.
Sue - Remember from the original movie, he hollered SANCTUARY SANCTUARY! Well, he got his COVID shot, and now he gets to holler IMMUNITY IMMUNITY!
I updated the post since you obviously didn't read my mind and know I meant COVID immunity. :) :) :) Do I need more smiley faces?
Oh good. I was thinking political immunity - and there are a few of yours and of ours seeking that. Which I hope they don't get.
Sue - :) :) :) :)
I've actually seen that movie (that's Lon Chaney Sr as Quasimodo) and never caught that continuity error. Now I feel I should go re-watch the version with Charles Laughton to see if it happens there, too.
Kirk - The only reason I remember the sanctuary line is it's in clips on TV every great once in a while.
That clip does ring a bell ...
I refer you to Einstein's General Theory of Relativity.
The bell is higher up in the Earth's gravitational field than the bellringer. Therefore time runs slower for the bellringer.
If the bell is rung long enough (sic!), the bellringer can move to be adjacent to the bell where time runs faster.
There IS no absolute time, so it might not be a continuity failre, merely General Relativity ;-)
And if you believe this (correct) argument, you need to do the math to see how miniscule the time difference is ;-)
Yeah, I was going to say the same thing as Ole Phat Stu...
Bill - If I was more ... something ... I would have added sound to this.
Stu - Mo math for me today. I'll just let Scotty beam him back and forth. And now that Everest is back open, you can do the clock experiment and prove your point.
Mark - Like the teachers say, "Show your work". :)
Patron saint of agoraphobics. I'm not going into that public square!
Cloudia - As long as the space is big enough to maintain the 6 foot separation.
Mike, i thought you might not publish the Quosimodo/Pauline Hickey related com-girl-t, but i just wondered if it did make you fall about laughing ?, as i`d intended it to ! ! !.
LJ - It takes too long to decode the mangirl stuff.
