That's not a hole in the wall. Just an illusion drawn by Katy Ann Gilmore.
Here's the article I found this at... https://mymodernmet.com/math-art-line-drawing-katy-ann-gilmore/ ... which gives you a little more of a story about her.
The link above takes you to her website.
And I found an interview.

Mind boggling work.
Sue - I wonder how many lines she's drawn?
I wonder if she'll do my study?
Bill - It would definitely seem bigger.
There is a rug available that looks like a hole in the floor. It would be amusing for the dogs.

Mark - I looked at the "rug". Did you read the reviews? Apparently, it's a scam. I'm surprised Amazon still has it on their site. But I have seen that illusion before. Maybe it's a marketing opportunity to produce a decent product!
That 3-D effect is "quite astonishing", and i only usually use that phrase to describe you-know-who, so that shows how impressive this painting is ! ! !.
LJ - You are big-time impressed.
Wow. Very impressive.
Ah-mazing!
Matt - I'd say she has her art down pat.
Kathy - I taught her everything she knows.
Good thing it's indoors. A bird might smash its head trying to fly into that hole.
Kirk - If you follow the links you'll see she's done some outside stuff too. I can see where it would fool birds.
Mike, I couldn`t find out Katy Ann Gilmores exact birthday but the bird looks like she's in her early to mid-thirties, so, therefore, by definition, 10 or 12 years past the absolute pinnacle and peak of her physical attractiveness and desirability, but the point is Mike, she's still quite a tasty bird.
LJ - When you get to be my age there are no past peak females.
Amazing work! Makes my brain hurt trying to rationalize it! HAHA
Martha - She's found her niche in the art world.
