When Peggy was looking for a new house I sent this St. Louis area house to her. For $20 million, it's a steal. And since it's still on the market, negotiations are a definite possibility.

I offered to go in on it with her if she could loan me a few bucks. But no. She moved to one of the Carolinas.
So, Kathy, same deal. If you can loan me a few bucks you can get out of that small condo and live the good life. How about it?!

Not for me. It would require far too much cleaning.
I can't imagine why it's still on the market. What a steal at $20M ... you could take your $20M down payment on a bungalow in LA, Honolulu, or Northern Virginia and get a REAL house.
You covet that bowling alley, don't you?
LJ - Nope.
EC - You just start at one end in January and work your way across the house till December.
Deb - Shhhhhhhhh!
Thanks for the offer, but I like being able to walk to the grocery store and (some) restaurants. However, the next time I clean under the couch I'll throw you the change I find underneath it for your down payment.
Ummm - gag. A bunch of posers built this.
Kathy - Hey, it's a start.
Lady - We have a lot of them in the St. Louis area. You'd be surprised how many houses like this there are around here.
I had to laugh at elephant's child above saying too much cleaning - if you can afford this you have maids/cleaning companies etc!!
Mike, there is a show on HGTV called Bargain Mansion and it is set in St Louis. She buys mansions and fixes them up....you can get her to change anything for you. She is kinda cute too. You're welcome.
She is kinda cute. But I'll never see her on TV. I don't have any of the pay streaming services she's on. (About 10 of them.)
Bill - I missed you somehow. I read that someone paid 2 million for a vacant lot in LA. There's too much stupid money out there.
You could get a nice condo in Waikiki for much less than that!!
Cloudia - But with a bowling alley?! :)
