5346 - OCD nightmare time

This could also be called, "Screw it, it's time to go home".

Now for this last one, all I can say is sometimes you don't have a choice. I have a spot like this in my house.

Big oops. And they would drive me batshit crazy. I don't think I could live with any of them.

Sue - I think it would be fun to put these everywhere I could think of.

These are all so funny!

Mike said...

Deb - I thought so too.

I'd just move

Ah - what a bunch of hack jobs.

Mike said...

Peg - No you wouldn't. You'd get too many good posts out of fixing all this stuff.

Lady - So you're not of the "close enough" mindset?

Arrrrrgggghhhh! (Not that I'm OCD or anything...)

Mike said...

Allen - I keep looking at these trying to pick a favorite and I just can't decide.

These make me so uncomfortable! LOL!

I find these sorts of things fascinating as well!

Mike said...

Shaw - But what's your favorite?

Cloudia - Next time your out, turn a striped manhole cover 90 degrees.

It's really hard to paint walls that come together at weird angles, but if I had your house I would find a way.

The four-way walking path with the tree at the junction - lol
You have to wonder how some of these even happened. Seems like it would take actual intent to create some of them :)

Kathy - When it's above your head, precision is not a requirement.

Jenny - And there's a missing bush.

That's why I put "This could also be called, "Screw it, it's time to go home" at the beginning. I've seen things like this done before.

What allenwoodhaven said. Twice.

Mike said...

Bill - Don't let me in your house. You'll be looking for out-of-place things for a month.

We had a similar issue with high ceilings at our old house, and when I painted there were always a couple of places at the edge where the paint wasn't even. I learned to look past it :-)

Mike said...

Kathy - Or just don't look up. When I was working on my "off" corner, I tried to figure out every way possible to "fix" it. I finally just said screw it. I never notice it.

#1 comes from Terry Gilliam's short-lived career as a tile setter.

If Terry Gilliam was your tile setter

Bruce; Wesley - I had to look up Terry Gilliam. AH HA!
