WTF! It's 54 degrees and sunny in St. Louis today (Wednesday). Friday we will have single-digit wind chill with snow and ice. Sunday it will be 60 degrees and sunny. WTF!
Joke from Saturday jokes...
There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

Spring and Winter are duking it out!
OH the wonders of spring, no wait, winter, no wait.......
We had a blizzard in Ames,IA, on April 5th, 1973. It was mounds of snow, most places were shut down for three days. There were a lots of new babies.
Those poor people. They now seem rather happy.
Deb - Neither one has won yet.
Susan - I have flowers up right now. We'll see if they make it through Friday.
WTF indeed.
Great idea! When I was a kid in upstate New York, the local community college had a snow sculpture festival. Some were 20 ' long and 10+ tall. This would fit right in!
It was 60 degrees here 3 days ago; today it snowed. Sigh.
Kathy - I'm assigning the job of "MAKING IT STOP" to you!
Allen - It looks like all I would have to do is go sit on a bench Friday and that could be me.
Shaw - Time for a salt run to Home Depot.
Love the picture :)
No snow over here all winter - I miss my Manitoba winters, it's horrid here as it's just rain and dull for weeks at a time. (Can't complain too much as it's sunny and 14 today and the daffodils are out!)
River - Personal igloos.
CC - So it's true about the weather in the UK?
Sounds like CC lives in Seattle. That is exactly a winter in Seattle. Dreary damp and not much sunshine for weeks. No snow. I'd rather have snow. But instead, I have anywhere from 84 to 48. Is this normal here? Or is this just a weird year or our new normal?
That pretty much describes our weather lately, too. I like those snow people!
Jenny - I think the dip in the jet stream starts on the West coast and just travels across the continent without letting up.
Afraid so Mike. Even though it never gets too cold I always feel colder because of the damp. 😏
CC - It's Friday morning now and the snow and ice were a no show. It's supposed to get really cold tomorrow. I hope the weather guessers are wrong about that too.
