Too many trees would be barely enough.

#6 and #19 are quite nice!

I like the tree trunk carved into books (#6). Seems appropriate.

It's amazing how fast Thursdays come around.

Mike said...

Bill - For different reasons obviously.

Deb - Isn't it?!

Kathy - That's EXACTLY what I was thinking last night when it dawned on me that it was tree time again.

You manage to find the most beautifully creepy photos around.
Be well, Mike.
Merry but don't marry everything, and stay warm over there.

All beautiful. But the book tree is the best.

6 and 12 are the winners this week.

Mike said...

Robyn - 3 good ones this week.

Shaw - 6 is leading the voting.

Matt - Another 6 and here's some info 0n 12.
What’s now visible is due to a 1973 project regarding growth and tree spacing. At the time, the area was used for ‘experimental forestry’ with one experiment that saw researchers planting trees in 10 degree radial increments to form 10 concentric circles. The results show trees growing in a convex shape, fanning out into the forest and suggesting that tree density does indeed affect growth. The original plan called for the trees to be harvested in 5 years, but officials are now considering saving the circular forest.

The tree sculptures are very cool.

Mike said...

Lady - Yes they are. The internet sent several of them to me.

They're all beautiful. I love #6 and #14 reminds me of the windblown trees on Rottnest Island off the coast of Fremantle WA.

Mike said...

River - 14 is an interesting one.
