Are Scents of Nature an Untapped Well-Being Boost?
Of course they are!
There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

Most of them are. Some are the opposite. Cow manure is perfectly natural but its scent doesn't improve my well being.
This is very true. Fortunately, we live next to some undeveloped parkland, far enough from the stench of DC to have mostly dissipated before it reaches us.
Well, certain scents are.
Wild garlic grows here.
Sue - Unless someone works on a farm?
Bill - Plus you have lots of trees around your house.
Deb - We have to concentrate on the good ones.
Anon - I have wild onions popping up all over the yard right now.
Good or bad, natural scents are beneficial
My nose may now one trillion scents but I don't think I could list them.
I love the smell of the Ponderosa Pines in the mountains. But I think Cedar smells a little like cat pee.
Nature? yes. But let me walk past a bakery baking sweet pastries and I'm in heaven.
