There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

Love New Zealand's Tree of the Year - and would love to see it for myself.
I like the "walking tree" too, and #15 looks like a nice place for a summer picnic.
You're a lot closer to it than I am. Take lots of pictures.
#15 is obviously in some park with those picnic benches.
#20 is a beautiful, peaceful scene. We need more such.
New Zealand has a tree of the year? What a great tradition!
My favorite this week is #16.
Lovely photos. And thanks so much for the Trump countdown clock, that's just the thing I need
New Zealand and Australia have some of the most unique trees.
Thanks Mike. I always enjoy seeing what you find. Aloha!
I would love to go for a stroll with a tree in New Zealand but #20 is where I want to be this week.
I don't know how long I would last there. It would depend on how close the nearest grocery store is.
Canada has a tree of the year site too. https://treetrust.ca/tree-of-the-year/
I almost didn't post that because it's more of a sky picture than a tree picture. But the colors changed my mind.
I had a little trouble getting that countdown clock to fit. I tried so many things I couldn't tell you what finally worked.
They have unique everything.
Thanks.
You and Bilbo can build a cabin there together.
Beauty, fun, joy and wonderment this week. So soothing. Especially like #12. Thanks!
Oh no! Spammed again!
Wait...there I am! Sorry.
#12 is an interesting tree.
Here you are!
You're up ^ there.
Number 19 may be as close to abstract art as nature gets.
It looks like they could pull themselves up and walk away.
