i am glad this election season is winding down. I am sick of all of it. Local and national, right or left, it's all rhetoric and half truths as someone is trying to get me to help advance their political career. If someone has actually done some of the things their opponent has accused them of, they should be locked up. Some of these local ads are accusing their opponents of some pretty heinous acts.
I have not seen any ads with Billy May hawking those amazing products that make life easier. This is because of all the political ads. I miss Billy May our modern day Ron Popeil. I bet he has many new products.
Can anyone tell me why the candidates end their ads with "and I approve this message?" Who started that and why is it such a staple?
I just proofread my comment and I sound like Andy Rooney.

John - I got your post in my email notification but it's not showing up here, for me anyway. I think there are so many people blogging about the election, blogger can't handle the traffic.
I think something is wrong with the comment mechanism on this bloggery. I put something up 15 minutes ago and it hasn't come up yet.
I see the wee trashcans sometimes...just thought it was part of my "condition"
Fiona - you should see the trash cans on 'all' of your posts 'comments'. And on your comments on other peoples blogs. That lets you delete any comment on your blog and any of your comments on other peoples blogs.
I gots no trash cans no place!!!!
