Ah...so Remembrance Day in Australia is called Veterans day in the US. Was it a holiday in the US? It wasn't over here, just a minute of silence at 11am.

Funny stuff. I was reading for 20 mins or so and didn't scroll down a 4th if the page. Palin is denying not knowing about Africa and Nafta. I think she was treated unfairly.

Amanda - It's a holiday here for most government employees. Not for the normal working person. It was a holiday for the telephone company years ago but the workers gave it up for a floating personal day.

90 years doesn't seem such a long time these days.
