I see a double standard. Obama cannot speak without a teleprompter and is not ridiculed and made to look like an idiot. I think these talking heads need to find more substance in their coverage. That story I just saw about honking horns in the neighborhood....now there's a story.

B - The double standard is on the republican side. These jokes were in response to Palin harassing Obama about using a teleprompter.
Giving speeches using a teleprompter is nothing like having to read the things that you stand for off your hand. Ever watch Obama at a town hall meeting when he's answering questions? What about when he made the republicans look like fools at the question and answer session a few weeks ago? His answers to the questions weren't on the damn teleprompter. That's a moronic comparison being used to try to defend a moron.
Besides, when she gave her speech she had to read it off note cards. Maybe the teleprompter is too complicated for her? She has to use note cards or she won't know what to say. You can't bitch about Obama's teleprompter and ignore Palin's note cards.
