Here's an interesting recall I found. Books. That's right, home improvement books have been recalled because if you do what they say you could kill yourself. Exciting eh? Go here to read about dangerous reading.

1% from North America? Are we being overrun with immigrants from - gasp! - California and New Jersey?

I remember entering the green card lottery years ago. Never expected to get it or anything but it was a real craze when I was working in Penang. But if I were to have got it, I think I would like to live some place that snows

B - You silly. These are just the people that 'apply' for green cards.

A - Last winter there would have been a lot of people that would have traded places with you in an instant.

Amanda - Mike's right. Snow is very pretty and desirable until you have to shovel it, drive in it, get rid of it, etc.

I always knew doing it myself would kill me, so I don't :)

Whew! I didn't see my Home Depot "Homer" book on the list - I'm saved! (But whenever I have a really tricky electrical question, I just call my Dad, 'cause he's one of those EE types - he gave me a Fluke Voltmeter as a gift - he's cool that way.)
