Anyway, there's a site that has a full explanation and the recording of it. It's about 15 minutes long. But you have to listen to this at least once so you know what people are talking about when they go "Oh he shit!".

There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

My father told us for years about this recording, but we never heard it until I found a CD copy in a catalog called "Things You Never Knew Existed." I don't think the CD has the "full" version, because Dad remembered a lot of details that weren't on the CD, but it's still hysterically funny. How about a Triple Flutterblast for the winner...?
B - I won't say the real ending was disappointing but the versions of the ending I'd heard over the years had been embellished quite a bit.
Hard luck, Your Lordship!
I'm going to have to look into this when the kids are sleeping. The last thing I need is my son perseverating on farts.
B - I could come out with an updated version.
L - Did you come back? Did you listen?
