So I ran across a site called Deviant Art. Knowing me, I had to have seen this before. Yep...
Here are some more pictures from the site.
When I found this site again I wondered if I had a login. Of course I did. You don't have to login to see quite a few pictures, but it helps to go a little deeper into the site. They also have memberships, of course they do.

Some really interesting pieces. I see they offer tutorials too.
Deviate Mike
Sue - THe site has really grown since the last time I found it.
Cloudia - And proud of it! 😁
It's an ... interesting ... site. There's a lot of really good art there, plus a lot of stuff you really don't want to let your grandchildren see.
Deviant Art is a great site for fanart.
I agree with your statement in the original post that "It would take me 2000 hours just to come up with a pencil drawing that looked like a decent pencil drawing. Maybe."
Bill - Very very very true. Some of the art can get really deviant.
Deb - I googled fanart and the first site that pops up is DeviantArt.
Kathy - A big maybe. Those drawings are spooky good.
My daughter was on Deviant Art for a long time. She's on Instagram now. I wish I had her talent.
Ami - My artistic talent lies in geometric designs.
I HATE that everyone wants Memberships and Logins with Passwords and UserNames, you almost have to be an IT Tech Nerd to get into any of it anymore. Right now I'm stalled on checking on an Identity Theft Issue that my Tax Shield recently discovered, and stalled on getting The Grandchild signed up for Summer School... every Agency wants you do do all their Work now Online and in Portals... they'll give you Handouts and Links, that's about it, if you can't figure it out, you're screwed.
Dawn - And then the two-factor authentication comes along. "We're going to send a code to your cell phone". Well, I don't have my cell phone with me. I guess I have to go find it!
I'd heard of it but never visited. The artwork is pretty interesting.
Martha - Totally agree.
